PT. Linde Indonesia, a member of The Linde Group, is the leading industrial gas supplier in Indonesia since 1971. PT. Linde Indonesia manufactures and distributes industrial, specialty and medical gases, and provides a range of related services including the installation of gas equipment, pipelines, on site plants and associated engineering services. PT. Linde Indonesia operates in seven locations across Java, and is committed to delivering quality and reliable services that create value for our customers.
For more than 60 years, we have led and contributed to the development of the industrial gases industry in Indonesia, providing global solutions with a local outlook, each tailor made according to the needs of our customers. PT. Linde Indonesia currently supplies products to approximately 500 customers via pipeline, tankers or cylinders, with over 200 personnel supporting our 24-hour operations in five different locations across Java.
1971: BOC (formerly CIG Australia) and Aneka Gas forms joint venture called PT. Industrial Gases Indonesia (PT. IGI) based in the Pulogadung Industrial Estate
1972: Set up of Acetylene plant
1973: Set up of Carbon dioxide plant
1974: Set up of Oxygen, Nitrogen and Argon plants
1982: Set up of the first Hydrogen plant and beginning of on-site gas supply in Jakarta
1991: Beginning of on-site gas supply in West Jaya
1995: Acquisition of Aneka Gas's shares in IGI by BOC
1996: IGI renamed as PT. BOC Gases Indonesia on December 16
1997: Sales office established in Surabaya
1998: Beginning of operations of combined cycle plants (power plant +ASU) in Gresik, East Jaya, supplying to PT. Smelting Co and other customers in East Jaya under PT. Gresik Gases and PT. Gresik Power
2006: PT. Linde Indonesia became a member of the Linde Goup following the acquisition of the BOC Group by Linde AG
2010: Re-branding of PT. BOC Gases Indonesia to PT. Linde Indonesia in November 2010
2011: Securing of gases supply contract with PT. KS POSCO in Cilegon, West Java, for building a 2000 TPD Air Separation Unit, the largest in Indonesia
2013: On streaming 2000 TPD ASU at Cilegon
2016: Commissioning of new PGP site for industrial and special gases at Karawang
2022: Set up of small on-site plant for Elang Perdana, Microfilling site at Semarang, and securing of gases supply contract with PT. Freeport Indonesia, in Manyar Gresik East Java, to build a 2500 TPD ASU, which is going to be the next largest Air Separation Unit in Indonesia.
